Metal dash pictures

Post by Fordfool »

Does anyone know where I can find the plain metal dash pictures on here? I searched, but I guess I don't know how to use it. It gives me 1376 results...

Anyhow, the body man that is redoing my cab says he can clear off everything on my dash, speakers, defrost holes and smooth the whole thing out. I am going to do it, but I wanted to see pictures. I am going to cut slots along the front of the dash there for defroster holes an dinstall some sort of diffuser in about 4 places. Anyone done this before. Not sure exactly what i will use, but i will thing of something that will work well.

A metal dash looks wonderfull! Especialy a smoothed one. But I would still put a carpet pad or something up there to cut down the glare on the windhield.

I have mine bare and painted also, really don't remember having a pad on there anymore. Kinda makes the truck feel a little more vintage. :D

460 crew is using these for A/C vents. They might work for defrost, too.

Switch is for the offroad lights I have mounted on the bumper. It's in one of the dashpad mounting holes so I didn't have to drill another hole until I decide where I want it permanently.
