Rally-Pac

Post by trukcrazy »

Here is a truck with the Rally-Pac in it. I always wanted to use one in my truck. It looks like it belongs there.

Your right it does look good in it. My idea on the pillar pod extra gauge set went south on me. I could not figure any way to adjust the one I purchased to look good. Sold it to a friend. That rally pac is just great looking

Are you refering to the two gauges on the steering wheel?

The two gauges on the steering column. It is a rally-pac used in the 65-66 Mustangs. From the picture, I think that is a 65 model. It adds a tach and a clock to the vehicle and it is a Ford part.

I can't figure out what year Rally Pac that is. It has the full sweep tach plus the non-hooded bezels of a '66 but the main housing looks like a '65. :hmm:

Maybe it's a mix-match of the best looking parts from each year.

They reproduce them for Mustangs.

I'm pretty sure they made real ones that just said "FORD".

Scott Drake does a nice reproduction. Original or repoped, they both are kinda spendy though.

Just a side note, if you ever need repair on a factory instrument or gauge, tachman is the one to go to.

We sell those rallye packs in either white face or balck face guages and either an 8k or a 6k tach. They are pricey and the lead time is long on them like 8-10 weeks.
