my brother goes to auctions all the time. he found a small sandblaster cabinet at a farmers sale last year. bought the whole thing for about a 100.00. you probably can't build one for that. i would keep my eyes open for something like that. i real lucky to have access to a big or little at work.

Look up a Speed Blaster brand unit. Ive used this 10 times more than my pressure pot blaster. Engines headers, it's all good. Attaching an old shift boot to the noozle is great for blasting rusty seems and not getting sand everywhere.

All they are using is an old A/C freon tank. That will work for a while but those things will wear out. They are very this skinned. If you want to make one of your own it is simple. First you will need to get ahold of a portable blaster set up. I made one using an old I making machine for the housing.

Well give it a try. We have all thrown more than 4.99 out the window before for a lot less. I Have a old propane tank and a old 50# freon tank and it looks like home depot has the rest of it if I don't already have it.

Well I went a head and got the plans. It has two hoses going to the gun one for sand and the other for just air. So he claims it is more efficiant?
oh and by the way the gun is homade to. Defanatly looks like a redneck rig. But sence I r one. I'm giving it a try.
