THE NORTH TEXAS MEET AND GREET (IS HERE)

Post by TEXAS 70 RANGER XLT »

The North Texas Meet and Greet I would like to sponsor and coordinate for all you girls and guys that might be interested.

The date that I've picked coincides with the 40th Annual Great Swap Meet at Ameriquest Field in Arlington, Texas on September 8th - 10th, 2006.
If any of you have been to this swap meet, you know that there are treasures to be found around every corner. What better than to be able to talk all day about our trucks in spaces that we can rent for $30 a piece prior to July '06 ($35 after July '06). I am not saying that you have to rent a space or that I'm going to rent a space. Just thought you might like to know.

I am very grateful to all the members that wished me well during my hard times and would like to meet anyone else affiliated with Fordification.com the best people I have met in a long time. That goes for you too Tony B.

If you are interested in coming, please private message me.

I look forward to meeting anyone who can come.

That sounds great but why wait so long? Check out www.gasolinealleycarshows.com They have shows all over the Dallas-Ft. Worth area every weekend. We go to the Mesquite Burger Street show and The Mesquite Hooters show every month. All ways a bunch of good cars, trucks, friends and food. Pick one or two dates out and let us know. Or we could meet up at the Arlington Hooters some Saturday or Sunday. Thats about in the middle of DFW so maybe a bunch could make it. Charles

Well fellers....since it's now almost August and CJ is the only person who has shown any interest, I pretty much gave up on the idea and told my wife she could make other plans if she wanted to (which she did) so now I'm lookin' for a Meet N Greet to go to with my old beat up truck. But if any of ya'll get a chance to go to that swap meet you will be absolutely amazed at what you can find there. Best wishes to all.

I will attend such an event...hopefully with my truck, but if it isn't ready by then, I 'll still do my best to get there. I'd like to go to one of the monthly events you mentioned Charles, next time I need to head up that way I will try and make it coincide with one of those events.

Texas 70 and Matt, I am pretty much open all August and Sept. with a few weeks notice. Maybe Alvinator, Aubrey and JD could attend as well.

Big Red Truck, Well if it,s ready when ever this is going to be then drive it and if not bring your self. My thinking is more people = more fun. I got to meet Alvinator at the Mesquite Hooters car/truck show and I really enjoyed the visit and truck talk.
