Post by GT-Racer »

I started a new thread to show you guys a link I found. I was afraid if I posted this in the other thread that it might be missed by many who were interested in this topic.

Read the bottom paragragh carefully for non 67 owners. Maybe Keith or someone can tell us what the major differences are between years here.

I wonder what's so special about that kit. I've had no problem using 68-up regulators in 67 doors and vice versa. Then again, he refers to a 67 'Frod' pickup so maybe he does have some rare item

I did a very close comparison of the '67 vs '68-up regulators and found them to be 100% identical in every respect. The handles would even interchange between the two. I don't know why they say modifications would be necessary for '68-up trucks.

Could it possibly have something to do with the knockout for the door handle on the 68-72 doors?

I've never taken apart one of these doors before, would the motor pass by there?

I don't want to give em a heart-attack. That is what would happen if I answered the door in the buff. Heck it almost scares me to death when I step out of the shower and look in the mirror.~Mancar1~
