Actually, I was refering to the
Block.
I owned an 85
MERCURY Toe-spaz and I'm pretty familiar with that 2.3L HSC.
That
Block was concieved from their "Small
Block" Inline 6. They pretty much just cut the last 2 cylinders off!
It wouldn't be unorthodox to assume that possibility.
Both
FORD and
Chevy did just that to their "small
Block"V8's to achieve their 3.8L V6's.
I'm not sure if
Buick did the same thing w/their
231 though.
