Original Radio

Post by blue68 »

I have dibs on an original radio from a 1969 wrecked F100 Ranger. It's the push button type but I dont even know if you could even get an FM radio back then? So its probably AM only, right? What's something like this worth?

Bumpside trucks had an AM/FM radio option, starting in '71. However, they're fairly rare. The AM radios were available either with pushbuttons or without, the pushbutton style is more plentiful than the manual tuning model. These come up on E-bay all the time, in good used condition they'll get $20-$50. The AM/FM variety in almost any condition will get in excess of $200.

Would this be one of those radios they're e-baying?
