Looks great! I love that big vacuum gauge. It goes good with the sport tilt. Question: isn't the horn button from a car? Thought trucks had the Ford oval.

That looks great! Those panels are such an improvement on the original look. Nice job. I can't tell. Is is chrome, silver? How is the "wiper" label attached?

It's chrome. And yes Barry the horn button is from a car. I still haven't found one with the horn contacts. I hooked up the vacuum guage just for gits and shiggles. It is kinda cool.
I got the sending units on there this morning, and took off the add on oil and temp guages. The guages all seem to work fine.
I was wondering about the fuel guage reading at first, so I filled up the tank. It seems to be pretty close, reads past full a bit. I don't think my guage was all that accurate before I swapped panels.
Also the guage panel had the wiper switch on the left. So I moved the switch. The hardest part was finding a spot to mount the wiper delay box so the wiring would reach. I'll put a choke cable in the old wiper switch hole.

Thanks for the kind words!

The only drawback on that idea is the body contortions you're going to have to do, trying to reach around the column/steering wheel, to use the key with the left hand and the choke with your right....that's why the choke cable is always on the opposite side of the column that your ignition switch is on, since they must both be used at the same time.

Ok Kieth, after I read that I went out to the truck and yes the choke would be handier on the right side. But, I need to do something with the empty hole on the left.
Any ideas? Maybe a good place for a little chrome plug, if I can find one the right size.

Mount a cargo light switch there, the factory kind that light up when they're pulled out, and use it for fog lights or driving lights. If that doesn't sound appealing, I'd agree that a chrome plug would be best until you could come up with something better.

Cut it out a little and put the brake warning light there?

Or you could put a cigarette lighter port there as well.
