I did the same cleaning and lubricating of my window this past weekend and it worked real good till a couple days ago and my window goes down at an angle again. I think my problem might be rusted out channels though because they keep bending on me.

I always thought WD 40 stood for "Well Damn!" which is what I say after the 40th time of trying to loosen something without it. :D

Something like that. It was the military that invented it, or it was invented for the military. If I am remembering correctly.

Give a man a roll of duct tape and a can of wd-40 and he can fix anything.
Use the wd-40 when something doesn't move and is supposed to.
Use the duct Tape when something moves that shouldn't.
