Steering wheel interchangeability
From what I remember reading I am under the assumption that most Ford steering wheels will physically fit on the shaft on my '72 from the 50's through at least the 70's. I am wondering what years exactly work. I kind of like the look of a '46 Deluxe wheel and if nothing else I like the older looking wheels that are on the 'pre '70s more than the plastic 70's+ ones. So will a wheel all the way from the 40's simply slip on and bolt up or am I limited to 50's+?
