89' Seat?

Post by tjg_26 »

I like the 89' era seats. they have the armrest, and are fairly modern. I need to put it in a 71' just like http://www.classictrucks.com/features/0 ... 100_truck/ but don't know if the seat will be the right width or if it uses different brackets? out of a 89' Ford, into a 71' Ford.

Thanks for the great site Keith,

Mine came out of an 89 and bolted right in no problems with the original seat tracks.

same thing with my 86 bench, had to use a hammer to smak out the studs on the 68 brackets but bolted right up using the 86 seat and bolts...

i like it now...seatback is higher and interfears with my gunrack though....

all in all much better than sitting on a spring
