An Idea on seats for keiths Chop truck.

I was wondering if the seats from a '96 aspire would work? The aspire is half as tall as one of our trucks. And these are a nice set of buckets and I have a spare set.

I have no idea what they look like (or even what an Aspire looks like, for that matter). I'll look into it.

Its A Festivia kinda idea with the Kia Design working for it.

The seats are about 3 1/2 - 4' tall and very close to the floor in the aspire. and they would need to have the all of the "feet" where it bolts to the floor flattened. so it would probably drop anoth 6-8".

Might just put you where you want to be in the chop top. And would be newer velour buckets unless you had them recovered in leather or vinyl.

id rather see some old style low back buckets from a mustang. with chopped down tracks. keep em under the windwo line whatever you do...

That don't sound half Bad. Either Way it would be better than the origin bench. Of course could always chop down the tracks on the bench too.

I think if you drop the seat height then the steering wheel will become a point of view ! So then tilt column with a smaller wheel ?

Yes, a tilt column will be almost mandatory in this thing. However, I'm thinking about first trying to shorten a stock column and use a smaller steering wheel and see how that works out. I've got a tilt column but was kinda hoping to use it in the '67.

I could always test fit the spare buckets in my sport custom here in a couple of weeks.
