Brake Pedal

Is something bizarre about my brake pedal?
I wanted to put a smaller stock pedal pad on it but just realized this thing is one piece. I always though the bolts thru it were weird. Is this some crazy cobbler job?

that is from a car. it looks cobbled in.

i got one i just took out that is an original if you want it. the whole bracket and everything you'd need to fix that with. if you want it.

It's looks GM to me, too.

It appears somebody sure wanted to have a wider pedal and wasn't smart enough to just use one from an automatic-equipped '73-'79 truck. Those have wider brake pedals.

Yeah.. I'm slowly finding out my truck has had POs of lower than Einstein intelligence.

WoW! That looks like there is enough room for the passenger to put both feet on there with yours in an emergency stop!
