:lolprev: No, but I'll talk to one of the engineers and see if the can start working on something like that.

Hey layedout, we make spinal implants to fuse vertebrae together, but nothing for cartilage. We do make external fixators for knees. You might have had something like that while your knee healed. :?

It sounds like fun work.. I wouldn't mind doing that type of work.

Nope, no school. I got offered a job in a machine shop 17yrs ago, when I was working in construction. I was only 19 and not making a ton of money, so I took it. I was there for 1 yr then went to another place and was there for 13yrs. After I made it to the top of the "ladder" there, I left and came to this place. You could say, "I earned while I learned". Now that I am in a big company I have less responsabilities (only myself, not 8 guys) and make a lot more money. I think it would be more fun if I could get a job making custom car/truck/motorcycle parts. Someday...

That's what makes this place different. Keith allows us to go were we want with the topics (within reason of course). I think that's why so many of us hang here.

I've had posts erased and had threads locked that were "off topic" in other forums. I like it here. :D
