1970 F100 SWAY BAR

does a 1970 f100 come with a factory sway bar?

Well, they didn't come with the type of sway bar that most of us are accustomed to seeing, but the Camper Specials did have a wierd swaybar setup which connected the radius arms on each side. The factory did refer to this as a swaybar, but because of it's location behind the front axle, this is why most header manufacturers state that their headers won't work with a factory swaybar.

I WISH like heck I could find a picture of one, just for the visual reference.

But by 70 the only Camper Specials were F250 up. :wink:

Hmmm....OK, you got me there. ;) I was referring to swaybars in general, but you're absolutely right...speaking specifically, the F100s would not have gotten a swaybar.
