Accessory Tach guage

Anybody have a factory tach and if so where was it installed in the trucks?

The factory Ford Truck Accessories catalogs show them as being available, but I've never actually seen one.

The dealer had lots of different tachs you could choose for your truck, don't have to stick with the selections in the truck section. I think the most beautiful tachs ever made were the Cobra ones, got one in my Falcon Sprint.

Unfortunately, the factory never offered a tach in our pickups.

So it looks like Ford offered them but never installed them? Kinda like going to the dealer and getting dealer floormats I take it?

I thought it might be a dealer installed option. oh well.
