Instrument Cluster Ready

Post by dduude »

I finished putting my gauges in my instrument cluster. Autometer Gauges. I was trying to figure out how to fill the holes . One speedometer was to big (5"'s)and one was two small . So I got a plastic sink drain and it fit the hole real nice with minimal trim to the panel. and then I had to fill the right side hole so I did the same thing with another sink drain only I am getting better at it ,this time I left the threads on it and just screwed the nut on it instead of gluing it on like I did the speedo.......... and then I used a collar from a pipe and made it fit the center of the sink drain and put in a clock :D

A suggestion- check the accuracy of the voltmeter before installation. Mine ended up reading almost 4 volts lower than my digital multimeter(s).

I never would have thought of a sink drain for an adapter.
