floor mats

Post by BigRedTruck »

ok, so the rubber ones...some come precut, others dont, some are 5 inch, others are 8 inch. I need one and i have a 8 inch tranny hump. all the catalong each mange to leave out a specific detail that i need. most of the 8inchers are listed as being a floorshift transmission model...mine is a c6 and has the 8 inch hight but no floor shift. if the mats are precut i cannot use them. Others are listed as 8inch but also fail to mention what type of transmission they are intended for. Has anyone replaced their's? some seem only partial too....forget where i saw that one though.
thanks

I don't have an answer, but I'll be needing one myself, so It will be interesting to know what you come up with.

There should only be two options...Whether the large or smaller xmission hump....At least that's what it was in carpeting...It would seem to behoove the supplier to not pre-cut them...then they could be used for a wider array of vehicles...
This is the point...I'm....talking about everybody! I'm talking about form! I'm talking about content! I'm talking about interrelationships! I'm talking about God, the devil, hell, heaven!!!! Do you understand???? Finally!!!!

Do they list them as fitting through 1979? I think the basic shape is the same but around 77 or so Ford extended them back further and added insulation. So there may be "longer" ones that go under the front seat mounting bolts and cover the area beside the seat.
Great ideas have always encounter violent opposition from mediocre minds.
