re: Door Panel Restoration
Hey, I got the foil tape at Micheals, which is a local hobby shop - it was in the stain glass section, The foil tape is self adhisive, they use it on the edge of the glass to solder it together. The hard part is to find the actual foil tape, Most the time they only have copper tape, It can also be found at the hardware store, It may come as wide as 2 inches so it will have to be cut down....Hope this helps..

re: Door Panel Restoration
this might be off the subject of fixing a door panel but, i seen a really cool idea for a door panel on a 69' the other day....the guy cut diamond plate same size as the original door panel and cut all the necesary holes and went around the edge with the crome plastic trim stuff you can buy to protect the edge of a door from dings when you open it....the just attached it with some stainless screws.....it looked pretty sweet actually.
