Rebuilding a tilt column

The tilt in my "1974" f250 4x4 is very loose-wobbly are there new "knuckles"(not sure if thats the correct term) to fix this and tighten everything up?

the only tilt column i had apart was on a camaro. the bolts that held the knuclke together had worked themselves loose. i retightened them and it worked fine until i sold it.

I've got a tilt column that's the same way...it's a little loose, and needs to be rebuilt. Sometime in the near future I'm going to be getting started on this, but in the meantime, I'm about as clueless as you. :P

I think theres a couple bearings inside the colum and there might depending on exact year be ujoints in there somewhere or something hinge like depending on brand.

Like stated above most of them have screws that just back out and need to be retightned.
1969 Ford F-100. 302 4 barrel, C4 auto, 9in 3.50 open rear, headers, power steering, Turq/wht, Under restoration. In other words, in a million pieces!!!

There is no Replacement for Displacment!!!

yep....screws in the inside of the "bowl" will come loose. Loctite is our friend

now...what about a turn signal switch assy...thought there was a dodge unit that will bolt right in..age & brain cell abuse prevents me from remembering where i saw this??
