Well I have 2 1967 mercury 1/2 tons and one of them is a ranger, which is my project truck.I also know where at least 3 more are in my area,so they are still out there, but I think the camper specials and rangers are harder to find. What is even harder to find is a good tailgate so if you find one of those grab it.

As far as I have been able to find out, separate Ford & Mercury truck production numbers were not kept after the 1962 model year. The last Mercury truck supposedly came off the production line on March 23, 1968. After that date, all were Ford badged.

My 367 ,yes there still out there but in Canada mostly .If you take the overall ford truck production for that year (US and Canada)it's not that much. And you are right that end gate is a rare as hens teeth.

Rockcrusher ,I've got the same numbers as you for the Merc production .My truck was built 3/20/68 ...3 days before production ended .
