I finally got my LMC catalog today, and noticed they have dash "covers" (not pads) that fit OVER your dash pad (not sit on top of it). These are available in colors, and seem to completely cover the existing pad. They sell for like $90.00
Does anyone know what these look like, or how well they work? Does anyone here have any pictures of one of these (installed)? Just wondering how viable of an alternative this might be until I find a good replacement pad.
Thanks!

re: LMC Dash "Covers"
They're just hard ABS plastic, and will snap over the top of your existing pad. They're OK, I guess, but if you're planning on replacing your pad in the near future, I'd just bide your time....or remove the pad altogether in the meantime.
Also, they don't fit COMPLETELY over the cover...on each end of the dash, there will be an inch or so of the original pad showing.

i have one on mine, the owner before put it on, i thought i just had a nice dash, i didnt even realize it was a cover. and keiths right, but i like the hard plastic because i dont have to worry about cracks or fading, if it does fade i can just spray bomb it
sorry the pics arent the greatest.

THANKS! That was fast!!
You know, why won't any of these places reproduce the actual dash pads in colors (other than black)? Sure would make life a lot easier. Seems if they can do black, they can pre-dye and do blue just as easy. How many of us need to beg?
ps... that's one well-worn hat, cowboy. Looks like one of mine that has seen too many rainy days.

that well worn hat has lasted about 10 years, (the time my head stopped growing finally) that hat "ol guy" has seen lots of rainy days, snow, sun, crap, dirt, mud, sweat, blood, you name it that hat has some on it, best hat i ever had.
