ok on my buddys 69 f100 the door doesnt seem to open on the driverside from the inside. You pull the latch towards you and it just seems to be nothing.
Is there some kind of rod in there that is broken. That maybe i can weld back up. This is the one of the MANY problems im addressing tomorow. And fixing.
Hes painting it. Im fixing it. He gets out of the POS 72 bug he was driving. And i get to use his lift when it comes time on OL blue

If you're concerned about heat, use MIG. The gas helps cool the weld. And on something that size, I would go with .023-.025 wire.A_G wrote:can i weld the rod on low heat with a mig flux core?
