the silver box was mounted on the core support, by the passenger side light, and I don't even remember where the other thing was lol

the top one is your voltage regulator, I can't remember what the second one is onff the top of my head right now.

The larger is a Voltage regulator and the smaller looks like a horn relay. The horn relay should be between the battery box and the starter solenoid.

Thats why I didn't remember what is was! (My truck hasn't had a working horn since I got it 7 years ago :lol:)

I may...I will have to wire these up and see. Where can I get wire and connectors to run into the voltage regulator? Seems like the wires in a wire harness are always different than you find at autozone and the like.


all i can see (that matches the wiring diagram) is the green/red that comes from farther back in the truck, maybe the main board or whatever, and the orange wire (that goes to the alternator) the others are yellow I think I remember. I already taped the harness back, so if I could pull the old wires (minus the orange/red one) and re connect and re run them, even if different colors than stock....how would I do that?
