What is the light at the bottom left of the dash for? I wasnt sure, cause i've never seen it come on. I thought it may not be original. Let me know if anyone has any thing.

It is the brake warning light,it comes on in the event that pressure is lost due to a wheel cyl blowing or line rupture. The switch is on the distribution block in the frame rail under the master cyl.It should come on during cranking, but go off when the engine starts.Maybe a bad bulb.It suppose to have a red lens with a chrome bezel over it.

the light won't come on unless the brakes aren't working right. it is suppose to come on when the key is turned on but some say that it doesn't

Is this light supposed to come on when the parking brake is applied?

Mine's been on for almost a year now. The brakes have been bled repaetedly and seem to work. I've gotten used to it.

I've gone through the centering procedure many times and the light is still on. Maybe its the switch?
