The main problem with most aluminum especially our trucks is that it is anonized and want shine. The coating keeps you from polishing the aluminum. Now if you strip the coating off it will shine great. But my headliner trim is chrome... I mean, it's shiny and slick, except for the little rusty spots. !
Or are you saying it's just polished aluminum with an ano coating? 'Cause it sure looks like chrome to me...
