Thanks for the info! So all things considered, it's fairly safe to unhook this to clean up my under-hood wiring as long as I don't try to tie any trailer brakes to it? I may leave the contraption itself for the sake of history, but all the wires running to and from it kind of get in the way.

I honestly think the previous owners had bypassed this anyhow, as I have a trailer brake control box mounted under my steering column.

Now I have to go... I need to check with Doc and see when the lightening is supposed to strike the clock tower.

Yeah it is definatley a part to an old school brake control.
1969 Ford F-100. 302 4 barrel, C4 auto, 9in 3.50 open rear, headers, power steering, Turq/wht, Under restoration. In other words, in a million pieces!!!

There is no Replacement for Displacment!!!

it works just like the dimmer on the headlight switch but with a bigger spring.


i have seen the horse trailer that fits in the beds before.in fact in the 60s and early 70s there were many different types of campers installed.
