ER flasher switch

Post by Supermike »

I posted in another thread about this, but figured I'd get total clarification. My ER flasher switch in my 67 has gone bad. It was actually in two parts until I pulled it out of the glove box...

The part # is C6A8-13A350-A1 , looks to be a 12V switch?

ACTUALLY, my turn signals are not working properly right now, either. They had been clicking really slow, but now they just light up when I turn on the signal. That wouldn't have anything to do with this switch being bad, would it??

Also, I'm assuming no-one (LMC, Mac's, etc.) reproduces these switches? Or is this something I should be able to find at AutoZone? Luckily, fordman is willing to hook me up with one if they aren't more readily available.

Could this also be the flasher? If so, where is that booger located?

Heres a photo

Heres the thread that kind of explains the switch and the flasher locations. Hope this helps.

I think the emergency flasher switch is a 3 pole switch. You see them occasionally on ebay. I didn't see one in LMC. Post in Parts Wanted and I bet someone has one.

Thanks... I'll check it out tonight.

Fordman has a switch, so since I can't get them locally, I'll get his...
