Steering Wheel
Is there a way to determine whether your truck came with the horn ring in the steering wheel?

Yeah, I read that which raised the question for me of whether the horn ring was standard in the Custom Cab or part of a package you could get for it. Mine came with the added gauges in the instrument panel as well as the nicer seat package so I would assume it also had the horn ring. Thanks very much.

re: Steering Wheel
This is interesting... my 67 Camper Special has a horn ring, and it appears to be the original steering wheel. It matches the column, and I don't see any sign they've ever been removed or replaced.Steering wheels for all 1967-1970 models (pictured above) were the same and used a three-spoke design. The standard wheel (pictured above left) uses a simple horn button, while the Deluxe wheel available with the '69-'70 Ranger and Custom Cab packages incorporated a horn ring (upper right). The three-spoke wheel was used on '61-'70 trucks and on '60-'63 Ford Falcons
In addition to this, my grandpa had a 67 Camper Special when I was a kid, just like mine. One of the things I remember about it the most? The horn ring! What kid doesn't like to play with the horn?
I believe the horn ring WAS an option with the 67's. Check out the picture for item #28 in this brochure from 1967...
