WOW, years ago I did that exact same thing to my orange 72. I opened that up and it sent chills down my spine. My old 72 was totalled in 88 with the flag still in it.

That is a popular headliner here in Ga for the die hard rednecks. My buddy had one in his 79 Bronco that he totaled.

I bought a 70 F-100 4X4 once with that same headliner. Here in North Carolina I have seen some bedroom curtains done in the same!

you can ford a river or stream and get to the other side, if you dodge it you will not, and if you drive a chevy to the levee it will run dry and the music will die.

Before I even opened it I figured it was a confederate flag. The PO shoulda got one with Hank on it.

Me likes its just such a cool flag. Unfrtunately alot of people hate it cuase of the civil war and the flage being used by those who wanted to keep slavery as the status Quoe.

One day i will buy a 69 Charger 440 r/t orange with all the general Lee stuff on it.

yes that flag is a reminder of our past and the attitudes that go with it. i think more of today that flag has more to do with being a rebel at heart and a symbol of being free in ones self. not as a reminder of the past and what we had done to others to keep them down and treat them like dogs.

the previous owner put it over the original headliner in the truck. the original is still there you can feel it when you push up on it.
