Hawkrod.....I definately remember you. Your the one that helped me get my cruise control working. I'm sorry to see that FTE gave you the boot. You were a real asset to the site with tons of information. For what it's worth, I got booted in the exact same mature manner as you and others here. I tried to log in one day and got the error message that your talking about with no explanation. I emailed Dennis with a sincere apology for what ever it was I did wrong and got no answer.
You are actualy in a true enthusiast's site now as opposed to paid advertisement.

Wow, yet another one.
So I have been writing to the vendors that support FTE and telling them about how FTE is harassing their customers that also visit this site. I have gotten some interesting replies, from as high up as President. I encourage anyone else to do the same. I told them I was not seeking intervention to get me back on FTE, but just thought they should know and that I also suspected they were using inflated site traffic numbers to sell advertising because many of you still have files and accts. there. I sent notes to all the vendors I have used in the past.

I still visit over there, but not as much. I like the FTE 61-66 section, though some off the posts in it lately have turned into pi$$ing contests for who knows the most about a particular topic.

The 67-72 section is the usual rehash of power steering & disc brake swap stuff. Pretty basic stuff, but something many people are interested in doing. If they'd post some better how-to articles maybe there would be less of these.

I had the same name. I was never given a reason, and I never posted anything off color or threatening over there. I did post a thread called FTE drama, but I never said anything that was not true or an opinion, just reported on what was going on. Bunch of Nazi's running that place!

If I remember correctly the first wave of us got kicked off pretty much just for our association here. There might have been some ranting about how unfair it was that Keith had gotten banned (a discussion on this board), but thats only cause it was. I think personally I got the boot cause I made some comment about how all the cool people were getting banned and I felt excluded next day what do ya know...Error Yes! part of the in crowd

I think I might have been the first one here who alluded to the Nazi parallel (I think I called his moderators the Hitler youth) and Ken sent me an email saying that it wasn't very nice what his spies had reported back to him. I always wondered who the mole was. I still feel sorry for Dennis. When all the drama started, you could tell he wasn't liking it but had to stay in line. Too bad we can't get him to defect.
Maybe we should launch an assault, sort of Animal House style. Everyone just start signing up under different usernames and asking embarrassing questions, praising FORDifications ect. Keep Ken so busy stomping out brush fires that he totally tweaks out. Naw, that wouldn't be nice. Probably should just pray that he be delivered from his paranoid delusional state of mind.

Comet, I got banned about 2 days after spending $800 bucks on parts from FTE sponsors. Give the details on the notes that you sent so I'll have a better understanding of what I need to send. I think your on the right track with letting the sponsors know what is realy happening with FTE.
Willowbilly, If Ken isn't familiar with that term about the nest, I'm almost certain he will be very soon.
Keith, You have said in the past that you did not want to include any other year models other than 67 to 72. If that is still true, I think I may start my own site for 73 to 79.

I'm happy to do that. It's on my computer at home, so I'll remember tonight to PM you my note. I too had just spent several hundred dollars each at 3 of their supporters. I got responses from 2, but even the one I didn't get a response from, if they continue to get more complaints, maybe it will get peoples attention.

oooooo........me....me....i'm interested! I just bought a '74 and need a quality site like this one for it.
but then I am still looking for one for my '88, also!

I wish I knew more about these trucks so I could start my own site, but I ain't that good yet! much less know ANYTHING about running a website.

but I think most people that are here dont want to start one cause this one is the BEST and nobody can copy or match it!
