door lock problem

Post by '72f250 »

when i bought my '72 F250, i couldnt get the doorlocks to work with the key so i took the doorpanel off and found that the lock cylinder isnt hooked to anything, does anyone have a list of parts that im supposed to have in there, or maybe a diagram...anything would help.

Here's a view of the inside of the door. The latch has been removed, but you can see the door release handle on top and the lock cylinder underneath it. See the little arm extending out from the lock cylinder? That engages into the latch assembly.
