Hidden antenna

Post by dotcentral »

Anyone running one? Where did you put it and hows the reception?

I've been thinking either between the headliner and the roof, under the dash, or somewhere up around the grille. Not sure if any of those are good spots.

I've thought about putting an electric/motorized antenna in the original spot.

that probably means cutting out and frenching in an access pannel under the cowl side behind the pass. fender.

I don't want to give em a heart-attack. That is what would happen if I answered the door in the buff. Heck it almost scares me to death when I step out of the shower and look in the mirror.~Mancar1~

I bought one, but have not gotten that far on my truck yet. I hope it works well. I plan on mounting it under the dash above the glove box. Its instructions say it needs a 1/2" clearance on one side when mounted near metal. :2cents:
