I got in fine, Keith, but nobody was there....

I think it will be fine as soon as I can figure out how to make the printing bigger.. us "old" guys have a hard time with that...

I got the java downloaded finally then it gave me some error on installing and i tried it couple more times and got same error so I give up!I hope you guys have better luck than I did with that java crap.

how bout an msn community thats just used for chat? another group of mine did this and it works great....we just dont post stuff on it and try to make it a full site (the full group site is somewhere else), we only use the chatroom feature and post a few pics and its been going strong with no issues for a couple of years now, we chat on there every night....

Just to the right of the chat window will be a list of everyone in the chat. ("X2" is always listed there, just ignore that.) If there's nobody else listed there under X2 besides yourself when you're there, then the room is empty at the moment. Just stick around for a few, maybe open another browser window and read the forums, but check back in the first browser window every now and then to see if someone else has come in.

I got on at work yesterday (network connection), but couldnt hit it at home, blacklisted isp, etc.....it my be that dialup is not gonna fly with this program because of the way it shifts isp every time you use it.....

No, the link in this thread is the only one. Before adding links to it on all the other pages, I wanted to take it (the chat) for a trial run for a week or two. That way, if it doesn't work out, I don't have to go back through all the pages again deleting all the links.

HELP

....ok, I got "java"....I got an IRC account password....now I cant seem to use the password to "authenticate" my "blacklisted" ISP (at home on dialup)......anyone figured this step out yet?....I'll keep trying and let you know if I get it...........

p.s. I still can log on no problem from work and did get to chat today with RED67.....I hope it can work!
