Reverse Lights
I have a 1970 f-100 ranger with a 360 v8 C-6 automatic, one where is the reverse switch. Cause I can't get power to the lights in back, and I'm to stupid to read wiring diagrams.

re: Reverse Lights
It's near the end of the column by the firewall, a combination reverse light/neutral safety switch.
You could also be missing the factory jumper on the other side of the firewall.

Got that switch, it works well for the netural safety and in park deal. What is the jumper for the other side of the firewall look like?

re: Reverse Lights
I don't have a pic, will try to take one tomorrow. There's a connector near the column by the firewall in the engine compartment that has a jumper wire bypassing it. That connector is used for a different reverse switch when you have a three-on-the-tree. The wire colors are black/red stripe.

Roger that, thanks. I'll look it over, thanks in advance for getting the picture. Having a picture to see what to look for helps me in ways I can't describe.

re: Reverse Lights
Took a "working" lunch to check on the jumper wire, that was the problem. Looks like a squirrel used it to pick his teeth with. Thanks.

Super! Glad you found it. Sorry I worked late and didn't get a chance at a pic.
Damn squirrels.
