I would love nothing more than to get a vintage '67 Olds Vista Cruiser to go with the '67 442....but knowing my wife, she'd NEVER go for that. In her eyes they're just "too old". (But her husband, who was born 3 years BEFORE that, is just right....hmmm....go figure.)
Actually, before deciding on this Ford pickup to use as a tow vehicle to the 442, a Vista Cruiser was exactly what I was looking for. I just thought it would be neat to have them painted identically, like a matching set. But I decided a truck might be a better choice, especially since I'd have to haul supplies and equipment.

Congratulatilons!!
We're expecting our first (Boy) this June. That is why I sold my $28,000 automobile and decided to restore my deceased uncle's 71 Ford as my daily driver. I'm much happier w/the loss of the debt and it's a lot more fun to be into restoration/car shows again. Now if only I could convince my wife to sell her $26k auto balance and get a daily driver 1966 Mustang like she had in high school we'd be in "HIGH COTTON."
Congratulations!!!!

re: Terrifying news!!
Keith,
As much as I would have liked to have another blue oval, I bought a '03 Caravan STX, new. I priced all of the mini's and compared quality, warranty, ect. IMO, the Caravan was the best product for the money. We have had a few issues with it, but all were covered by warranty or recall. We've had a power window motor die, the air filter box was cracked from the factory, and same with the gas cap. That was the warranty stuff. The only recall was on the power steering hoses, which they informed us of and fixed the same week. Overall, it's been a good vehicle over the past two years and the wife likes it a lot. The Grand Caravan's have like 14" added to the back for more room. I wish the '03 had the fold away seats like the 05's! My two cents...
