Junkyard seat pix

Post by f100ranger1969 »

I found a junkyard about and hour from my house that has a lot of old stuff. Not a lot of 67-72 but a ton of 73+ f100/150's There was a 72 f100 sitting almost completely on its frame at the end of an aisle. I checked what looked salvageable and there wasnt much but window chrome. I happened to pull back the seat cover and was wildly impressed. After a second trip and a lot of elbow grease getting it out of the truck and doing some cleaning in the shop this is what i wound up with. Only a few small tears, not what youd expect from a beat to crap junker that looked like it was sitting for 15 years. This seat had to be covered from new. Check it out

This is the original seat in my '72 XLT, it is very close to the one you have there.

I think this is a very nice looking interior, especially for a 1972 truck.
