Back to Original Door Panels

I have only had my truck for a week and I have been doing some little things to the interior to get it back to as close to stock as I can.

This is what I started with:




I pulled the vinyl and foam padding off and scrubbed them up. I was amazed at the condition of them. They have only very minor scratches and after a coat of wax, shined up like new:

I pulled the dash off and it is nice and shiny under there, I'm leaving it metal. I painted the vent grills black - I'll get some pics up when I take some.

That looks like the color of my door panels. Alot better condition tho. Mine were scratched up pretty bad, just painted them semi-gloss black.

Those look much better. Not sure why they ever covered them in the first place, but it helped protect them all these years.

sure do i got a nice pair with the crew cab and put them on the sport custom as the crew has realy decent walnut/burl ones.

i noticed tha the holes are way too big though if it got a factory set of fiberboard/cloth ones. ny idea on how to fix that without bondo or welding.
