Back up Lights

How to wire Back up lights...Nothing is anywhere on truck as far as the wiring is concerned..My truck is a 69 F-100 Ranger 4speed with a 390..Any help would be appreciated..My oldtruck manuals are all faded and rotted away..My Memories not what it used to be...

If it Looks good and Works good then it's ok by me. Everything has its issues from time to time...

Start with the obvious, which (for me) would be to check the bulbs, make sure they're good and that the bulb sockets (and the terminal inside) aren't corroded up. Then I'd check to make sure the wiring harness is properly connected to the switch on the transmission. I'd then check the wires between the switch and the bulbs for continuity.

Thank Ya'll...I went to the junk yard and got and old harness because the wiring was completely missing..I appreciate your help...The only thing that was still in the truck was the bulb sockets and they actually worked when I hooked them to a battery straight..
