No brake lights or signals

Post by Rjan »

In my 69 f-250 I have no signal lights or brake lights. Reverse lights and front signals light up. The signal lights on the dash just stay on solid with no blinking. Also all fuses and bulbs are good. Any ideas?

The solid indicator lights means your front circuit is prolly OK. with no rear turn lights, there is not enough load to make your flasher work. No brake or rear turn means you are losing the circuit either in the turn signal switch or beyond. Start from the rear bulbs and work toward the switch to find where the voltage is lost. Check the bulb sockets for ground too, if you have no ground on the bulbs, you won't have a circuit.
