Man, that's cool. I would take those Merc emblems and tailgate and stick them on a Ford that's in better shape.

Many moons ago, I passed up a Merc tailgate. It really caught my eye as that is the only Merc truck I've ever seen in my parts. That was many moons ago and I have yet to see another one in the boneyards or on the road. Cool find!

I don't want to give em a heart-attack. That is what would happen if I answered the door in the buff. Heck it almost scares me to death when I step out of the shower and look in the mirror.~Mancar1~

Nice find Ford truck parts. I'm interested in the steering wheel and horn ring if its in good shape and you wanna sell it. I always wanted a set of the 352,360 390 valve covers stamped in cursuf off a mercury. I saw some a at a junkyard now kick my butt for not pickin them off, anyone seen them? Speakin of Mercurys I saw a new one yesterday a Mark somethin I think another version of the the F150 but not a blackwood or whatever they were a few yrs ago. (passed it too fast to check it out.

Why do the gauges say ford? I know there sister's, but shouldn't it say merc like all the other emblems do?

The gauges say FORD because the only differences in the truck are the exterior emblems. A Mercury is basically just a Ford with different exterior badgings.

re: Check out my "NEW" '67 Mercury M-100
Hey is that shift lever chrome? Also, it that moss growing on the body?
Interesting it has Camper Special mirrors although you could get a F100 Camper Special in '67.
The air cleaner/snorker/heat riser is a '67 item only, not that many around.
Looks like the right side hood hinge popped, has anyone noticed that the right side seems to go first?

re: Check out my "NEW" '67 Mercury M-100
My '69 Ford F250 (the orange one to the left) Rusted out on the left side right in behind where the fender meets the cab. But the right side didn't fare too well either. The front of the door sill rotted out too. So now I am getting ready to put a new cab on, and since it's all going to be apart, I am going to go for it and do the complete ground up, nut and bolt rebuild. It's amazing. I bought the truck for a driver that I would fix up along the way. And here I am rebuilding the entire truck. Oh well, probably would've done it soon anyways. Can't leave well enough alone ever it seems. But it will all be worth it when it's done.

Yes, The old girl'll Drive you nuts untill you do, I think mine is hinting it wants the new 4 barrell setup i can get the holley 4150 4v for 85 bucks from a buddy he never used it wrecked his truck on way home from parts store(guess he waited to long to give her what she wanted 4Vs.
She throws me a loop every once in a while like when i put her on the back burner. I Know this because when she has a carb problem all i have to do is runn it up down and back to were it stared ands bam! she's good to go until she feels neglected again.
