(the folowing is a vent directed at FTE and not at you, snoziums):
Ya know what I read your post on FTE and I think thats total Since when do they have athourity for things being sold (or given away in this case) between private partys?? Just because its posted there doesn't mean they have any say, thats like craigslist or Auto Trader calling you up and saying "oh sorry, we've decided you can't buy that" And you can tell me that why??
Man snooz, if I were you I would have told them exactly where to go. But they're nazis so if you had they would have banned everyone involved. Which reminds me, no you're not getting banned here, you haven't done anything. FTE has a personal vendetta against us here and you fell into it unfortunately. Haven't you noticed that ?? They just keep proving it again and again and again and......

Hey Snooz,
I know I got on your tail the other night, and I apologize. You've done absolutely nothing wrong here and I'll be the first to say we're glad to have you. You'll get a truck some day and it will probably be better than the one that was offered. Things happen for a reason. But, this FTE crap is really getting me riled. What a bunch of egotisticle, self centered, real ford enthusiast wanna bees. Stick around here and you'll get good feedback, whether good or bad sometimes . They actually banned you for trying to get a truck. What A$$ holes. I have only visited over there once and a while but will not sign up after seeing all the posts here. Actually got booted because I looked at too many posts. That's like the library kicking me out for reading too many books. I was not impressed.
So, Ken, if you're reading this post and I'm sure your little spy Nazi's will be. Take this back to the little dick head.

Sorry Keith, hope you're okay with this. If not, feel free to delete and PM me with a slap and it will never happen again.

re: Please someone to store truck near Olympia area?
OH MY GOD! This is unreal, I honestly thought I had seen the lowest FTE has to offer, and now this! I am actually speechless. I have been getting messages from some of the people I still keep in contact with and I couldn't believe it, so I was wondering if Snooziums would mention it here or not. I got the impression from the e-mails that she just got PM'ed from the mods, but now it sounds like they called her out in public on the NW forum...simply amazing. I looked for the thread at FTE, but could not find it, did they delete it? If not, what is the name of the thread?
Yeah, I signed up for an internet bbs so that I could have the moderators tell me how to live my life
I really don't know what to say, I'm speechless.

Sorry to hear that. Shake the dust off and put those buttwipes in the past.
Hey we might tell you what we think sometimes but that doesn't mean you aren't welcome here. The right truck will come along when the time is right and now really wasn't a good time anyway. Don't give up. Make a plan or goal. Something to work toward, then get a truck when you are ready. Hang in there.

re: Please someone to store truck near Olympia area?
Snooziums,
Listen to Willowbilly, he's been providing good advice all along while hotheads like me were providing rash counsel. The difference in purchasing a truck that's ready for the road vs. a project isn't much, and yet it takes many times that much money to get the project even close to the condition of the one that's already done.
Having a plan is good. What are you doing this summer? I assume grabbing a job. Maybe make it a goal to have, say, $1000, saved by the end of the summer towards buying a truck (even working a full-time job for three months at minimum wage will earn you close to $4,000).
Next step I would take would be to expand your truck horizons a bit. Your dream is to own a '67, but there are an awful lot of '68 - '72 trucks around in all sorts of conditions...and they're just as much fun to fool around with as the '67s. There's nothing to say that you can't own a '70 for three years, learn everything there is to know about these old monsters, and then go look for your dream truck.
Again: stay away from eBay. It ain't the real world. I'm buying a '68 on Sunday (assuming the guy didn't show me photos of his neighbor's ride to fool me ) for not a whole lot of money, and it's a good honest old truck.
Anyway, don't take these things personally. We're just trying to help.

re: Please someone to store truck near Olympia area?
I have bought a couple vehicles off ebay. I got the last one I parted out. He had $100 opening bid and I sent him a message that if the truck didn't get a bid I could pay him the $100 about a week after the auction closed. No one bid and I got the truck. It had no engine/tranny and was a real straight truck with a couple pinholes in the roof. And it had a factory chrome rear bumper.

re: Please someone to store truck near Olympia area?
Snooziums, today while I was at the Monroe swap meet, the Slick 60s guys (and Mel) went into town and had lunch. Some gal saw all the trucks and asked if she knew anyone interested in 2 free trucks, a '68 and a '72. She wants them off her land. One of them ran when parked (can't remember which one) and both have titles. I guess people are slowly picking some parts off the truck, so not everything is there. Anyway, I thought of you and got her phone number if you are interested. PM me if you are.

Snooziums I know of 2 more free 67-72 F250's for free, but are not in as great of shape as this last one. Both have 352's, one has C6, other has 4spd. They will probably be there for a while, so if you ever find a storage place and are interested, let me know.

Hey Trey, I wonder if by chance they are the same ones I am referring to? The woman I talked to lives just outside of Monroe.

YES!I didn't actually see her, although she was in the bar earlier. She knows the waitress and called in later and I talked to her on the phone.FordPickup460 wrote:Was the woman manly and named Bobbi ?
