Fuse panel on kick panel?

Post by 71 LONG BED »

Why would there be another fuse panel over here? I should have looked to see if this is another one or the only one. It is in a '68 F600.

I think someone added that. I don't remember seeing that I my grandfathers. Check to see if there is another one somewhere. I'm going to try and make a trip to his house this weekend and if I do I'll snap some pics of his.

Dbarker...

That fuze panel is on a '68 f-600 not the same as your f-100 at all.

i can not be sure but i stripped a f500 lsat year and i think but i am not sure that the fuse box was also on that truck like that. the truck is gone now so i cant confirm, it.

how do the wiring connections from and to the box look are they factory connectors ? aftermarket connectors? or crimp on newbie style connectors? that will probably tell you more about where the box and wiring may have came from.

The fuze panel on my '68 B-500 bus is also on the "passenger" side...

It only had 5 fuzes... I thought that wierd.
I had to install a new fuze panel 'cause a couple of the slots on the original were no good.
I upgraded to a blade style box that I got at NAPA.

I have added a couple more circuits since then.
It would be really easy to add another box if I need more fused circuits
