Post by shayne250 »

My son and I are doing a resto on a 72' Ford F250. The dash is vinyl and all cracked up, can I remove the vinyl dash down to the metal and just paint the metal dash and do I need to replace the vinyl dash. Any :2cents: will help us out :fr:

go ahead and do it. alot of the others are doing it. im thinking about doing it. there is now reason you cant. its just for style and looks. it doesnt do anything. except maybe give the passenger something soft to bump thier head against in a wreck.

you will have to fill some holes in the top of the dash where the studs hold the pad to it.
