Are you kidding me???

Post by kl1lt »

How many other nutjobs are out there besides me? :maybe: All I want is an underdash 8-track player. Everytime I see one that I want, the price will skyrocket the last day!!! I just want to hear that extremely high quality sound pumping through my 1 6x9 speaker. Granted this one does have that barbaric feature of FM radio. I am not to sure that will catch on though. :hmm:
$152.50???!!!

Too cool. If i wasnt planning on a massive underdash a/c unit, that would be my next priority.

I gotta be honest. It looks like it's in pretty darn good shape. Hopefully the guy knew what he was doing when he serviced it and it works as good as he says. $152 prolly isn't that bad a price for a unit in that good a shape. Your right though, it seems every time you think you found the one you want, it goes waaayyy out of your price range.

My dad has a brand-new, never opened kit for an in-dash AM/FM/8-track player. I'm considering putting it in my truck when all is done. I know a guy who can record 8-track mix tapes for me, so I could put anything I wanted on it.

How much do you think that player is worth?

My daily driver has a casette deck so I still make mix tapes all the time for 4-track casettes.

Not making fun just a slight jab :D I wouldn't mind having one in my truck just for nostalgia but I don't have any 8 tracks stashed away so it would be not good to me. I love the mobile Phones too. How much did those set you back?

eBay has all kinds of 8-tracks on there. Almost anything that you would want.

I don't want to give em a heart-attack. That is what would happen if I answered the door in the buff. Heck it almost scares me to death when I step out of the shower and look in the mirror.~Mancar1~

Since people are putting x-boxes and LCD monitors in their vehicles now, I had an idea. Since I want to stay old school, I can mount a console TV in the bed and hook it up to an Atari 2600. I can play Pac-Man while jamming out to Led Zeppelin on 8-track. How hard would it be to mount a record player... :maybe:
