69F110's 69 update

Post by 69F110 »

Well, I have had it home for 2 weeks now and still haven't had time to really do any work...but I have done some cleaning: Here are before and after pics...

Okay...I mis labeled the pictures (not surprising) the first one is the BEFORE PIC...the second and third ones are the after pics...with wax.

**EDIT** 22 Dec 07: Since the pics were lost when we moved the forum...I'll repost them. Please read on...

Where are you located?

I'd like to buy the OEM wheels if you're gonna switch them out.

Ezernut9mm has dibs on the rims. I do indeed plan on repainting the same color...it has grown on me. I was planning on a maroon over white in the CACWBY fashion...but I like the skyview bllue and wimbledon white.

I am in Leesville, LA., about 5 hours away from Ft.Worth area.

I found a very nice and clean 72 F100 Custom at a local salvage yard...has some rust on the doors, but other than that looks great...has the original am radio, 302, 3 speed on the column, and very straight...even has the original hubcaps that look very nice. I am going to see if they will sell the entire vehicle...more to follow on that one.

A friend also got a free 70 F100 from an elderly lady that he did some roofing for...it was her husbands and he passed away 19 years ago...it has been sitting in the barn since then. I am getting the disc brakes off of it.
