heres another one for ya lol.

driver turn works with constant power, but not with blinker. blinker wire has bad contact at bulb maybe? pass side blinks, but doesnt work with constant power....bad connection there? What I tried to do was the "park lights". What I believe is wire 284 on the 70 diagram. goes out of the same prong as the headlights. thats what I mean by constant power.

I am going to look for a parts truck with lights this weekend....even if it's not an f100. Maybe I can find something that will work.

I think we may be getting to the bottom of all this... lol

The bulbs for "Park/Turn" are dual element so they have a separate circuits for each and one of the elements can burn out an the other be good... or it could be wiring / bulb connection somewhere...

On this Diagram for the 70 http://www.fordification.com/images/sch ... ghts01.jpg the park lights are 984 for the front and 285 for the rear. This is from the light switch... (Also, NOTE that the right front has a separate connector for the turn wire #3 and the Park light #984 on the connectors out of the cab)
On this diagram for the 72 http://www.fordification.com/images/sch ... _quick.jpg it is the brown wire...

Sounds like you're getting close...

I'm not "Brand Loyal" Ford-Chevy-Dodge-Toyota I have them all, one even cross mixed...
If it Looks good and Works good then it's ok by me. Everything has its issues from time to time...

My only question is, should the turns be solid with the lights on? Something is wrong I know, and I am not sure exactly how do go about it...and it may be what you said.

When I turn on the lights, the parks stay on, thats fine with me, not a big deal really. BUT, the turn signal doesn't work when I hit the lever for it.....this is the one where the turn doesn't work reguardless though. Then again, if the light is getting constant power, it wouldn't blink even if the blinker worked. So I need to figure out how exactly these park lights need to be working. I am going to look at the diagrams now.

edit: After looking again at the 72 diagram, the tails and parks are all wired together....so maybe I do have it right lol
After messing with it a little more I notice that when I hook up my park light wire to the head light switch, my right front blinker slows down a lot, sometimes completely. Could this be, because the blinkers aren't fully operative? When it is disconnected it works fine....
