hard to reach rust

Post by 1971ford »

i have had my headliner off for a while since im making a new one but i noticed i have some rust in a hard to reach spot. its to the right and left of the headliner area where the roof of the cab curves down. how the heck am i suppose to get rid of this without patch paneling because i dont have the tools for that. any ideas? :?

That just looks like surface rust to me. You simply need to sand, prime and paint. You've got the tools you need for that...on the end of each of your arms. Actually, that area would be a great spot to apply some POR-15.

All the application info you need is directly on the POR-15 website:

A little goes a long ways too Ryan. Its a little expensive, so you may want to start small. You can always buy more if needed.

p.s. Don't get any on you, it doesn't want to come off.
