seatbelt bolts stuck

Anyone have any suggestions for removing the seatbelt bolts. I can't get either of the ones next to the doors to budge although the others came out without a problem. I've soaked them with Kroil and PB Blaster on multiple occasions and have tried several times over the past two years when I've been doing interior work. I've stripped or twisted the torx drivers on both my Lisle and Craftsman sets and figure I'll round off the inside of the bolts sooner or later. Can't cut them off because I would still have the rest of the bolt plugging the hole...

I'd done the same thing before.

Have you tried to get a good pair of vise grips around the bolt head?

Also I've had some luck torching bolts out before without ruining the threads. (Gotta apply the heat of the torch tip right on the bolt/after you grind the head off).

Did ya' squirt some penetrating oil on the threads from underneath?

I haven't tried vicegrips on the round head but didn't think there would be room do to the angles involved and that the retractor is in the way. Will have to give it a closer look though. I've sprayed from every direction... Maybe I'll try a little heat to the threaded nut from the bottom of the cab to try and expand it enough to get things moving.

i heated a set of those once that was what it took to get them out.

I stripped the teeth off one with a long breaker bar. I shattered another using a pneumatic impact wrench but I did manage to get one of the two loose. My dad recently gave me his old oxy-acetylene rig and suggested heating the bolt like Fordman. He said that he used to use it all the time to heat bolts that wouldn't come loose any other way. Seems to break the rust loose from the threads or something. Anyway, got them both off now and will hopefully get to fitting the carpet and getting the seat back in tomorrow.
