custom s.s rear tank mounting
I thought I would post a few pics of my rear tank I had built while I was putting it in.

1968 swb hydroboost, ididit tilt column, Saginaw p/s pump with F series serpentine, all led lights, Vintage Air and painless wiring. 393w, tko600. CV front suspension w/c5 calipers and gt500 rotors. Stock Flexomatic leaf springs with 01 CV 8.8, 3.90 gears and Auburn locker. Custom wood bed floor. Full frame off resto-mod.

I still have to mount the tank straps. I used universal straps made of stainless that are supposed to be for a street rod tank I have sitting in my shop.

SOLD-71 F-350 dually flatbed, 302 / .030 over V-8 with a "baby"C-6, B & M truckshifter, Dana70/4.11 ratio, intermittent wipers, tilt steering, full LED lighting on the flat bed, and no stereo yet (this way I can hear the rattles to diagnose)! SOLD!
Many Ford bumps / one 76' EB / and several dents through the years.
A lot of "oddball" Ford parts collected from working on them for 34 years now!

The color is lime time green pearl. From our calculations the tank should be 15.5 gal. As far as the fill hole we are going to put the bed back on and figure that one out. It will probly be in the center of the floor or close to center.
